The California Mid-State Fair hosted GRAMMY nominated Jelly Roll in concert on Tuesday, July 23. With opening act Annie Bosco. The SOLD OUT concert took place in the Chumash Grandstand Arena at the Paso Robles Event Center and was part of the Michelob Ultra Concert Series

When Announced on February 16 that Jelly Roll would be coming to The California Mid State Fair on July 23rd, anticipation grew to a fever pitch and when Tickets went on sale February 23rd, it took the Nashville native singer/songwriter a swift 3 Hours to Sell Out the Grandstand Arena, certainly one of the fastest Sell Outs the venue has seen in its history.

 

Opening with “Dead End Road”, the singer instantly connected with the diverse audience and showcased why he has ascended to the heights of entertainment the last few years. “Dead Man Walking,” “Halfway To Hell” followed while being backed with production & pyro that wowed the young concert goers and veteran music fans alike.

 

Mega Hits “Son of a Sinner,” “I Am Not Okay,” followed with a rousing rendition of Garth Brook’s “Friends In Low Places,” while the night ended with “Save Me,” a song off his 2020 studio album Self Medicated, An official remix of the song with American country music singer Lainey Wilson was released on May 12, 2023, as the second single from his album Whitsitt Chapel. The song was sampled on "Somebody Save Me", the third single from Eminem's 2024 album The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grâce). n a June 2024 interview with Howard Stern, Jelly Roll further revealed that inspiration for the song came from Bette Midler's song "The Rose".

 

Jelly Roll recently debuted Top 3 on the Billboard 200 All Genre Chart and #2 on the Top Country Album charts with his debut Country Album, Whitsitt Chapel (released June 2nd, 2023) - earning the biggest Country debut album in Billboard Consumption Chart history. Following his sweep at the 2023 CMT (Country Music Television) Music Awards where he earned 3 awards to become the most awarded artist of the night, the Billboard Country Power List Cover star and “country’s ‘most authentic’ new artist” (The New Yorker) recently received Billboard’s 2023 Breakthrough Award. “One of Nashville’s fastest rising stars” (The New York Times), Jelly was an 8X nominee and 4X winner at the People’s Choice Country Awards and was the most nominated male at the 2023 CMA Awards, with five total nominations capturing his first CMA Award for "New Artist of the Year." His current hit single “Save Me” — a confessional, vulnerable expression of self-doubt — set the stage for his new season of life and took him to new heights, has more than 155 million views on YouTube and Platinum certification from the RIAA. Jelly debuted the song along with Lainey Wilson at the 2023 ACM Awards on the heels of his 28-week reign at No. 1 on Billboard’s Emerging Artists chart. “Save Me” is the follow-up single to his multi-week #1 hits on Country and Rock radio, “Need A Favor” and “Son of A Sinner.”

 

Jelly Roll is also featured on the just released Twisters: The Album, The soundtrack for the upcoming movie Twisters touted as a “current-day chapter of the 1996 blockbuster.” The movie stars Daisy Edgar-Jones, Glen Powell, Anthony Ramos and more.

 

Multi-genre hitmaking entertainer Jelly Roll revealed details of his Beautifully Broken Tour 2024 run. Produced by Live Nation, the arena tour marks the Nashville native’s biggest headlining tour to date and kicks off on Tuesday, August 27th at Delta Center in Salt Lake City, UT. The tour will make stops across major markets in the U.S. including New York, Los Angeles, Boston, Chicago, Atlanta, Washington, D.C., Philadelphia, New Orleans, and more before wrapping up in Charlotte, NC at Spectrum Center on Sunday, October 27th.
