Jack Johnson just completed a summer headline tour in support of his sixth studio album, From Here To Now To You, which debuted #1 on the Billboard Top 200 Albums chart, Johnson’s fourth chart topping album to date.
Jack Johnson and his All At Once campaign are collaborating with over 125 hand-chosen community groups across North America to support sustainable local food systems and plastic free initiatives. The Johnson Ohana Charitable Foundation will match donations to these All At Once Non-Profit Partners, up to a total of $2,500 (US) per group.
All At Once comes to life at the shows in the Village Green, where concert-goers connect with local non-profits, take environmental action, capture environmental commitment photos, and enter to win a chance to watch Jack Johnson’s performance from the stage. Visit www.AllAtOnce.org for additional information.
Jack Johnson's From Here To Now To You tour continues to pave the way in green touring practices and community engagement initiatives. Greening actions include fueling tour vehicles with sustainable biodiesel, offering eco-friendly tour merchandise, sourcing local food from local farms, and promoting ride share programs and mass transit in addition to engaging venues and fans to eliminate single-use plastics, recycle, use water refill stations and invest in community-based carbon offset projects. Visit www.jackjohnsonmusic.com/greening for all tour greening details.
Jack Johnson and his band have just finished the last leg of their world tour in support of their sixth studio album, From Here To Now To You. This tour has brought Jack and the band to some amazing venues throughout the US, New Zealand, Australia, South America, Europe, Japan, and most recently two hometown shows at the Waikiki Shell in Hawaii! The final leg of the tour started August 18 when Jack and the band took the stage at Colorado’s iconic Red Rocks Amphitheatre. From there the band visited more of their favorite outdoor venues along the west coast including the GorgeAmphitheatre, Greek Theaters in Berkeley and Los Angeles, and concluding with two shows at the Santa Barbara Bowl.
Unfortunately, Michael Kiwanukahas had to cancel his opening slot at the Santa Barbara Bowl. Michael is dealing with some health issues and his doctor has advised him to rest at home. New openers were added thanks to Brushfire Records. Bahamas opened on Sunday, August 31and Animal Liberation Orchestra (ALO) opened on Monday, September1 in Santa Barbara, CA
